Thomas M Brown

I have submitted my PhD thesis completed under the supervision of Ian Leary at the University of Southampton.

I am now working as a research fellow under the supervision of David Craven at the University of Birmingham.

Research Interests

I work within the areas of geometric, topological and combinatorial group theory.

In particular:

• Properties of almost finitely presented groups.
• Kaplansky's zero divisor conjecture.
